Crockpot Venison Tips
2 lbs. stew meat – beef or venison – I throw mine in frozen, but it doesn’t matter.
1 can Campbells’ GOLDEN mushroom soup
Cook on low 6 hours. Let cool slightly. Shred meat. Add 1 pkg. fresh sliced mushrooms. Cook for another hour on low. Add ¼ cup sour cream to the meat mix just before serving. Serve over hot noodles.

Venison French Dip Sandwiches
1 small container beef au jus
French bread
1 lb. venison steak -- I used the tougher hind quarter cuts, not the precious backstrap, beef could be substituted, also

Mushrooms
Provolone or Mozzarella cheese
Put steak into slow cooker with preferred spices and 1/4 chopped onion and 1/4 cup of water. Cook on low for 6-8 hours until meat shreds. Shred meat, Add 1/4 cup of beef au jus. Let sit/marinate overnight. Reheat meat to preferred temp. Add to sliced French bread. Add sauteed onions and mushrooms if desired. Top with cheese, Broil until cheese melts and bread is crusty. Serve with a hot side of au jus for dipping, if desired.
